Morning Work Routine
10 to 15 minutes (before school work)
When you copy, do not copy front and back. I use the back side of each page.
Routine and Directions
Monday – Trace the message/date and the Alphabet. Write your name on the third line. On the back of the title page tear pieces of construction paper and make the letter of the week. Give each student a strip of paper.
Tuesday – Trace the message/date and the Numbers. Then, look at the number and fill out the ten frame. Write your name on the third line. On the blank side (back side of Monday’s tracing work), tear pieces of construction paper to make the number of the day.
Wednesday – Trace the message/ date and write your name on the third line. Trace and write the HF words . Draw and write a sentence for I can ____. On the blank side, tear paper to make the word “I”.
Thursday – Trace the message/date and write your name on the third line. Trace the words and draw a picture of what you can do in the blank box to finish the sentence. Write your own sentence using the same I can ___. frame below. On the blank side, tear paper to make the word “can”.
Friday - Trace the message/date and write your name on the third line. Draw /write about your favorite thing you like to do with your family. On the blank side, write/draw a sentence using the words you learned this week.
