Thank you for your interest in the Start of School All About Me task cards to help get to know your students and energize them for the beginning of the year. In addition to the 28 task cards that come in this set, there is also an answer sheet and instructions.
The "All About Me" task card activity has two parts. For the first part, set up the task cards around the room and have the students fill in their answer sheets by rotating from card to card. It might help to set a timer to go off every 30-45 seconds. After the students have filled in their answer sheets, use the last two questions to make graphs as a class. Start putting up signs with the answers in different areas of the room. Have students move to whatever sign is true of them. Then, record how many students are at each sign. Have the students then return to their desks and make a graph on their worksheet with the class data. You can model this on the board. Repeat this for the next question.
The files are PDFs in a zip file. Packet is appropriate for any grade and homeschool students.
