Attached is a state capitals loop around game. There are 50 cards, one for each state, so depending on the size of your classroom each student will get either one or two cards. After the cards are passed out, pick one student to start the game. Students read what state capital they have at the top, and then read their question, “Who has the capital of (insert state)?” on the bottom half of their card. All students are to pay attention as the game “loops around,” and when they hear the state capital that matches their answer they call it out as indicated. The cards will eventually loop around so that every card is read. Any student can start, and when they get back to the starting card, the game is over.
**Print the game on card stock so the cards last longer. They can even be laminated for preservation.
