Looking for a simple, straight-forward state research report that your kids will be excited to work on? Here it is! This lift-a-flap style state report includes state symbols, state motto, state song, as well as facts about the state's climate, government, geography, economy, and population. Students will also be looking for interesting facts and famous people from their state. Once their state research is done, students will assemble an engaging report! One that they will be super excited to show off.

This project includes all the flaps, perfectly sized to fit inside a folded 12x18 inch sheet of construction paper, as well as a research organizer, two rubrics, and a bibliography page. There are 50 individualized covers, one for each US state. Each cover includes the name of the state in outline letters, a line for the state’s popular name, a US map for state shading, and an outline map of that state. If you’d rather not print out each cover, there is a blank cover too! Kids can write in their state and draw their own map. Each cover has been saved as an individual PDF file for easy printing.

Be sure to check out the Preview for an up, close and personal view!

WARNING: There is some back to back printing required and this may test your patience. BUT, I promise that the results will be totally worth it!
