Students will actively engage in analyzing whether or not territories are ready to become states in this cooperative group scoot game! Students will work in teams to check off certain requirements as they analyze 5 different statehood scenarios that would have taken place at the time of the Northwest Ordinance. This activity is directly aligned to the Ohio’s Model Curriculum for Social Studies. Includes a background information sheet, 5 color scenario cards, a student recording sheet, and complete answer key.
