PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Four Regions States, Capitals, and Abbreviations

The bundle of Four Regions States and Capitals Task Cards includes four separate sets of task cards that students can use to match in many different combinations. Each set of task cards for each region includes five different kinds of task cards: each state highlighted in the region, the outline of the state, the state name, the state capital city, and the two letter abbreviation for the state. Also each region includes a recording sheet for matching just the state to its name, and another "challenge" recording sheet for matching the state, the name, the abbreviation, and the capital city.

The tasks cards come in a full color version, and an ink-saver black line version that looks great when printed on either white or colored paper.

These task cards are a perfect companion to my Four Regions of the United States Complete Units Bundle.

Because the United States can be divided into regions in many ways, please check to see if this version matches your standards. My materials marked “Four Regions” have the states divided this way:

South: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia
Northeast: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont
Midwest: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin
West: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming
