This packet contains 55 pages (20 pages are keys). It consists of 6 pages (analogies/comparing, matching and alphabetical order, unscrambling, a wordsearch, web, and page to draw illustration and write paragraph(s) about the region using the web) for each of the 5 regions of the United States - covering the states and capitals only. Since the SW only has 4 states, there is other information with it. I like to have the kids complete these during class both on their own and sometimes with partners. They are also good to use for early morning work. The states for regions can vary slightly depending on the textbook. These regions are from Harcourt Social Studies 2008 - 4th Grade. Also included are 5 interactive pages for notebooks - 1 for each region, with the state on each strip. After gluing the title to their notebook, they can color and then cut the strips and put the capitals underneath on the notebook page to self-check as they review. Hope this is helpful! Have a great year!
