Description

Are you looking for a fun game to teach and practice key Vocabulary of the States and Properties of Matter? This resource includes 48 Cards - each with a definition and a vocabulary term. The cards are perfect for playing Dominoes OR I Have, Who Has! Directions for both instructional strategies are included. Your students will quickly master the important Science concepts related to Matter with the help of these vocabulary cards.

The first card has "Start", and then gives the first term: Matter. Students find the definition for "Matter" on the next card. That gives them the next term, and so one. The final card has a definition and the word "Finish".

These cards work well as a whole class lesson of I Have, Who Has? and are also perfect for Dominoes, which I usually play in a small group. Directions for both games are included. With this resource, you get:

  • Prep Steps
  • A list of the included terms
  • Directions for playing "I Have, Who Has" with your class
  • Directions for playing "Dominoes" with small groups
  • Students directions for "Dominoes" so students can play independently in centers
  • 4 pages of Dominos/Word Cards. Each page has 12 cards on it.
  • An Answer Key for Dominoes
