States of Matter Phase Changes
Product Description
Students will show their understanding of what the molecules look like for each state of matter. They will show if thermal energy needs to be added or taken away for the following phase changes: evaporation, freezing, melting, and condensation. This is a cut and paste activity, and an answer key is provided. This is an editable document so for the lower levels you could change thermal energy to heat.

I did not come up with the idea for this assignment, I found it on pinterest; I couldn't find any documents to do the assignment so I created my own. I did this with my students and I was able to quickly and easily see the where they were confused and correct their thinking in way they could visual see.
