States of Matter/Water Cycle: A Cross-Curricular Lesson for P.E. and Science
Investigate states of matter and the water cycle through movement! This lesson plan includes instructions for a warm-up, three (3) different games, and a cool down for students. This lesson can be done at an elementary or middle school level (depending on your state's specific grade level expectations for learning about forces and motion). Each of the three games focuses on one or more physical education standard and one or more science concept. During the cool down students answer questions verbally so the teacher can assess their comprehension of the content. (Questions included on page 4.)
This lesson plan packet includes nine (9) state and transition print-outs, three (3) pages of full instructional lesson plans, and one (1) page with verbal assessment questions.
