For ELAR, I’ve included activities for 3 or 4 different stations. Additionally, there are 26 color the letter worksheets for letters a-z! These can be used in stations, as homework, or morning work pages.
Station 1: Say it, built it, write it with sight wordsThere are 9 categories of sight words that can be broken down by month: Sept-May. Each of the sheets has 14 different sight words. Students will pick a card, say it, built it with letters, and write it on the fruit mat.
Station 2: Fruit Writing PracticeThere are 12 labeled fruit cards and a writing activity sheet. Suggested Use: Place cards in a pocket chart and have students practice writing them on a whiteboard. Afterwards, the students will work on writing and fill out the “my favorite fruit is… “ writing page. For fun, the students can color the cute pineapple when they finish.
Station 3: Tracing Practice and Color Students can practice seeing sentence format and trace the letters, read the sentences, and color their own fruit picture. *This could be activity sheet could be used for i.p. or homework – does not have to belong to a station. It’s just fun practice!
