Product Description
These stations are great for helping students understand elements, Atoms, Molecules, and Mixtures/Compounds.

Station 1: Students will use plastic eggs with pre-made "nuclei" with beads representing protons and neutrons. They will have to count the protons and then determine which element it is, then write the symbol and atomic number.

Station 2:
Students will read the article about how we know atoms are there, and then answer the questions. (article attached below the worksheet)

Station 3:
Students will fill out the chart of molecules, answering how many elements are present and how many atoms. Then they will get to build the molecules using playdough and toothpicks.

Station 4:
Students will define mixture vs. compounds and then answer which substance is a mixture or a compound.
