M-A-R-C-H-I-N-G Stations builds a bridge through basic analytic interpretation of function graphs without much procedural manipulation. This solidifies the conceptual understanding of analyzing a graph (particularly differentiating between positive/negative vs increasing/decreasing) in preparation for more intricate questions later involving decimals or use of a graphing calculator.
This is an 8 station activity, with a sheet organized for students to write answers. The stations include graphs to be analyzed (3), analysis details that need to be graphed (2), some general factoring expressions (2) and equations (1). The document is included in both PDF and Word format so it can be easily copy/printed or manipulated to be most effective for your students. While some color is incorporated teachers without access to a color printer will find a Black and White version to be sufficient. Answer key sold separately.
