AP Statistics, Statistics - Confidence Intervals for a Proportion Real World Applications
Task Cards really do work! They get your students engaged and keep them motivated to go through all of the problems, more so than a simple worksheet. In this activity students practice finding confidence intervals for a proportion given n, x, and the level of confidence. Students can do these problems by hand or use a graphing calculator.
☑ Task Cards: The cards are designed to reinforce the concepts taught in class. There are 12 illustrated cards asking for 90, 95, 98, and 99% confidence intervals for real life applications.
☑ Student response sheets which include room for students to show work. They are unnumbered so you can choose all or some of the problems.
☑ Answer keys.
☑ Master list of questions which can be used for an absent student or as an alternative to the task cards.
