This zip file contains an instructional PowerPoint showing students how to find the Range, Median, Upper Quartile, Lower Quartile, and Interquartile Range. An example page is provided for the students use during instruction. There are 4 examples on the handout all 4 problems are solved during the presentation.
In this PowerPoint I have done a bit of stacking on the slides that transition out when necessary. I also use sounds as I've found it keeps the students more engaged.
Please note: When I have my student find the median, we find the half way point, we do not use the cross out method. When I have done that method in the past I found students had crossed out the data they needed for the quartiles.
