As freshmen and sophomores, my students often have no idea what career path they want to pursue. I try to frequently push self-discovery, and this lesson has been a great way to combine that push with statistics. Students take the Myer-Briggs test, or any version of it, before completing the lesson. Teachers can find information on the personality types online to provide students with more information, or students can do the research themselves. My project allows students to learn about themselves while discovering the differences between probability and statistics. The lesson encourages students to examine both subjects and to avoid misconceptions!
