This bundle contains 4 lessons in the form of student guided notes with keys. The first lesson introduces students to basic statistics vocabulary. They will identify parameters and statistics. They will determine if the statistics are inferential or descriptive. The second lesson concentrates on students classifying data. They will classify data as quantitative or qualitative. They will further classify data into levels (nominal, ordinal...) (an activity is included for this lesson) In the third and fourth lessons, students will learn how to design a statistical study, They will know how to collect data in the from of observational studies, surveys, simulations, and experiments. Finally, they will learn the different ways to collect the data (sampling techniques). These lessons are set up to have the teacher lead the students through the note-taking process while incorporating examples for the students to try. The answer keys are provided with the pages numbered. I will also be making videos that take the student through the lesson for those that flip their classroom or for absent students. SMART notebook files are included for the teacher to fill in with the class. Homework,a test, and an activity is included.
