This unit bundle consists of 5 lessons in the form of student guided notes with keys. The first lesson has students organizing and graphically displaying data. Students will then describe trends and variations in the data. Students will create a frequency distribution, histogram, frequency polygon, and an ogive. In the second lesson they will graph quantitative data using stem and leaf plots and dot plots. They will graph qualitative data using pie charts and pareto charts. They will also graph bivariate data using scatterplots and time series charts. In the third lesson students will calculate the mean, median, mode, and weighted means. In the fourth lesson students will calculate the range, variance, and standard deviation. They will interpret standard deviation using the empirical rule and Chebychev's theorem .In the last lesson students will explore positions in a distribution. They will find quartiles, IQR, make a boxplot, interpret percentiles, and z-scores. This bundle is appropriate for a high school statistics course or a introductory statistics college course.
