Product Description
In this editable, interactive statistics and probability review BINGO game, students will work as teams to review "Statistics and Probability" seventh grade Common Core State Standards. Topics reviewed include identifying bias in certain sampling methods, understanding that random sampling results in a representative sample and can be used to make predictions and/or generalizations about the population, determining measures of center and use the information to compare data sets, determining the mean absolute deviation of data sets and use this data to compare, constructing and interpreting line plots to compare data sets, identifying whether the probability is likely, unlikely, or neither, understanding the relationship between experimental probability and theoretical probability, calculating simple probability, calculating compound probability, and determining the number of outcomes using an organized list and tree diagram.

To play, group students into teams of 4-5. Pass out mini-whiteboards to each student, if available. Each group gets a BINGO board, which they should fill in with the numbers 1-24 in random order. Each student in a group is assigned a number 1-5.

For each slide, students collaborate quietly to ensure all students understand and are able to arrive at the correct answer. Once an appropriate amount of time has been provided to answer the question, call out one of the numbers you assigned at the beginning of class (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). The student in each group with that number must hold up their whiteboard. If they are correct, their group gets credit for the question. If they are incorrect, their group does not get credit for the question even if other students in the group had the correct answer. Encourage students to help each other out!

To determine how students who received credit for the question will cross off a square on the BINGO board, draw a card from the pile of the 1-24 cards (included in this product). Repeat for all other slides or as time allows.

Included:
-18 PPT slides (with 1 question each + answer shows up delayed with animations)
-BINGO board
-Number cards 1-24
-Teacher's Guide with CCSS, objectives, materials, & procedure
