This FREE social story goes over things children (and adults!) need to do in order to keep themselves and others safe and healthy. It was written jointly by a speech-language pathologist, Kindergarten teacher, and employment specialist for individuals with disabilities. It goes over the following behaviors and explains that they are RULES to follow, not choices:

•Covering mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing

•Washing hands (many times) with warm, soapy water

•Wiping nose with a tissue and not hands

•Keeping fingers away from mouth, nose, and eyes

•Keeping hands to yourself and waving instead of touching other people

•Giving others space and not getting too close to them

•Keeping mouth away from toys and objects, not eating from the floor

•Using hand sanitizer when told by an adult

Stay safe, educators!! Xoxo
