Product Description
This is a group lesson for students to rehearse and practice the rhythms of 1, 2 and 1 2 3 4. Have the students sit on the floor in a circle legs criss cross apple sauce. You the teacher should be part of the circle sitting on the floor with your students.

You the teacher are leading the group in this exercise. Its important that everyone start and end together as you sing and clap the rhythms to the songs. This is primarily a rhythm exercise so it is important that students tap a steady rhythm while you clap and sing. Students may tap their hands on their knees.If. students show proficiency after a time, then you may have them combine their singing with tapping.

I chose Five Green and Speckled Frogs and Oh Susannah. However you may choose appropriate songs of your liking. While you are clapping the rhythms along with your students, you the teachr should be singing the song in time.

When and if you combine students singing with tapping, you may find that some or all of your students do not remember all of the words but it is still important to keep a steady tapping.
