Perfect way to practice rhythmic concepts around St. Patrick's Day in the music room!
Steal the Gold is a fun and competitive game for upper elementary and even middle school students to practice reading rhythms. This set was made with the intention to be used with older beginners. You could definitely use it with the little ones if you want to, but it is such a fun game, my recommendation it to save it for your upper elementary and middle school kids.
Two teams compete to collect the most pieces of bacon for their team, but watch out! The other team may steal your gold!
This set includes game instructions as well as 26 cards that can be printed, cut in half and laminated for long term use. Each card contains a four beat rhythm pattern. A rhythm list is included for teacher use.
Hardest rhythm concept: ta rest (notated both as "Z" and using standard notation)
Other rhythmic concepts include: ta and titi
* This set can be used with any system for reading rhythms. All rhythms are notated using rhythm stick notation.
