Students review the stem-changing verbs and the teacher introduces this set of verbs that they will be working with. They review the clothing vocabulary with an educational video and learn about the numbers using authentic infographics. They do an oral practice using real online information from a retail store.

Objectives

  • Students can describe clothing in my own wardrobe and prices of items. 
  • Students can describe and name common clothing items in most situations, e.g., in a clothing store.
  • Students can write descriptions of clothing in my own wardrobe and name common clothing items in most situations, e.g., in a clothing store.
  • Students can answer questions about people’s motivations, immediate desires, costs of certain items, especially clothing items, and other basic information.
  • Students can use stem-changing verbs in the present to describe what I and others think and want, as long as personal preferences.
  • Students can count from 1 to 1000, especially in terms of counting items.
  • Students can ask questions and express my opinions about clothing items, including asking about price and other characteristics like color and expressing my preferences.
  • Students can identify and understand when clothing items are being referred to.

  • Aprender qué es la raíz de un verbo y cómo se modifica en los verbos PENSAR, QUERER, PREFERIR

De qué se trata

Al finalizar la lección, los alumnos habrán aprendido vocabulario relacionado con la ropa, los números, y la conjugación de los verbos PENSAR, QUERER, PREFERIR en el tiempo presente. Habrán aprendido a utilizar el contenido en contexto para unir oraciones y expresarse de manera más fluida. Los alumnos habrán aprendido los temas por medio de diferentes actividades orales y escritas, interactuando con sus compañeros e improvisando situaciones.
