This is a FUN way to get students to practice creating a stem and leaf plot!!
The download comes with one game board and one record sheet. Each student gets a record sheet to turn in and a pair of students share the board game!
Player 1 rolls the dice and moves their piece to their place on the board. Player 1 inputs the number on their space into the record sheet. Player 2 then rolls the dice, moves to the place, and record the number from the space onto their record sheet. This continues until all the boxes are filled on their record sheet.
Then they put the numbers in order from least to greatest, find the median, mode, range, and then fill in their stem and leaf plot graph!
All you need is to print out the worksheets and have one die for each pair of students. They are interacting with one another and working together to complete the game!
Also, the numbers are color coded to help ELD students to put them in order from least to greatest. All the tens are blue, the twenties are green, thirties are yellow, and forties are red.
