Product Description
INTRODUCTION:
In this resource, students learn letter formation step by step, and then have room to practice on their own. Students may write directly on the sheet, or the pages can be inserted into plastic page protectors and written on with wet-erase-markers.

I created this resource because I was frustrated with watching my child struggle with worksheets that show all steps for each letter at one time. This can be very confusing for students.

Since letter formation is broken down step by step, this resource is also great for correcting letter formation in students who have bad habits and need to "relearn" how to correctly form certain letters. They must complete each step in forming a letter before going on to the next step

PDF DOWNLOADS INCLUDE:
-One sheet per letter (includes upper and lower case), with room for tracing and room for practice. Handwriting lines are 1.25 inches.
-Two page reference chart for students that includes all letters.

SOME LETTERS HAVE TWO VERSIONS, so that you can customize the resource to your classroom. The following letters have two versions of the lowercase formation sequence: A, D, P, R, U. Basically, version 1 has fewer strokes (compare to Handwriting Without Tears*) than version 2. Thumbnails and preview show version 1. The letter formation reference chart also has two versions.

TEACHING TIP: put sheets in page protectors, and let students practice with wet erase overhead transparency markers (such as Vis-A-Vis markers).

PRINTING NOTE: Set page sizing to "fit". (Practice pages should be printed in landscape orientation. Chart should be printed in portrait orientation.)
