This is a step-by-step demonstration of making a tissue paper flower with multiple applications. It is intended for students to be able to watch for instruction while an adult is free to help with any hands-on needs. This would be great for a whole group activity, or potentially for use with a volunteer and small groups. Feel free to pause whenever students need time to catch up! Think about using these for Valentine's crafts, spring celebrations, thank you cards, Mother's Day gifts, keeping track of individual pencils, or with science connections (flower terms included at the end of the demonstration!). I hope this video helps to make fine motor practice, crafts, and creativity an easier part of your day teaching! Included with this streaming video is a teacher help sheet that lists the steps, materials, estimated time, and tips and tricks. You could use this year after year with each new group!
