Intervals can be challenging to teach no matter what the age level but this no-prep resource will really help to clarify half and whole steps for your students. The presentation is practical for your students (grade 4 and up) but also quite useful to teach the new students to your school (in the upper grades) who have not had the same quality musical background as your other students. There are 19 interactive questions (with original imbedded audio so your students can see AND hear the sharps, flats & enharmonics) in the slide presentation. There are also 6 worksheets (1-flats, 1-sharps, 1-naturals, 1 color accidentals, 1 roll & answer enharmonics, 1 spin & answer enharmonic) to assess your students after using the visual/audio presentation. Answer keys are provided for all worksheets. Two complete sets of worksheets are included - one contains keyboards with letters marked on the keys and the other set contains "blank" keyboards. This is the third part of this series.
* This resource does not go into details (i.e. major/minor 2nd, perfect 4th) with the intervals but rather teaches students to see/hear half and whole steps on the keyboard.
flats, sharps and naturals, enharmonics on the keyboard as well as the staff.
