Product Description

This 11 page paper reports annual deliberate "self anthropologizing" by Islanders on Majuro a traditional culture under threat from modernity. This paper lays out the actual steps by which all members of the community, split into 64 in parallel teams, one team for each of 64 social process types, 1) analyzed needed transitions, mood fixes, of the community, 2) composed arts (art-acts to perform) highlighting needed transitions, 3) then practice such art-acts and actually perform them in a 2 hour show, repeated across the community as song, humor, drama, comedy, pantomine, poster, clown, etc.. STUDENTS AND ENTIRE SCHOOLS have enough information in this short paper to analyze their own community's needed transitions of deed and mood, dramatize "way to go" in art-acts they all compose, they then practice and perform as a 2 hour show their results. This is a one semester long process that one class of 30 can perform on their own parading their 2 hour show result before the entire school to recruit other classes next semester and year to expand this Community Quality Cabaret Process.
