This sticker chart helps promote a positive learning environment and it is very easy for busy teachers to use. It is also simple to follow, even for younger students and students who have special needs.
For every five stickers gained, students earn a reward. Choices of rewards include: break, prize, computer time, and other (with space to write it in). There is also a space for comments, which can be used to document behaviours and/or communicate with home.
Three sticker charts are featured on a single page, so the page can be cut into thirds, saving paper, and eliminating visual clutter.
Teachers can decide on how students can earn stickers, depending on their individualized needs. Some ideas include:
- Work completion
- Sitting quietly in circle
- Keeping hands and feet to themselves for a set time (e.g. 30 mins)
- Acts of kindess
- Raising hand before speaking
- Compliance with requests from adults
