Are you tired of paying too much for easy readers? Do you hate it when children tear the books or scribble all over the pages?
The Stick's First Read books might just solve these problems! The Stick's First Read are a set of 25 e-books and they are all available for free at the My Books Buggy website (www.mybooksbuggy.com). And now, with the printables, you can make your own books, right in the comfort of your classroom. All you'll need is a duplex colour printer, regular A4 paper and a stapler.
Take as many copies of the books as you want with no cutting or pasting required. Let the kids colour in the simple illustrations and even try to write out the simple sentences. And if they tear, just make another one. That's amazing value for just $1 per book.
Set 2 of the Stick's First Read Printables has 5 books - Art, Colors, Shapes, Happy, Make.
*Print instructions - When you're about to print the files, make sure to check the box that says 'Print on both sides of the paper', and also to 'Flip on the short edge.' The pages of each book are already in order, all you have to do is staple them together and fold in the middle. If you want the books to last longer, use a heavier A4 paper. (Regular A4 is 80gms, you could try 120gms or 160gms but these are a bit more expensive).
