This is a revised version of the traditional story map. A line takes the reader through each part of the story: Beginning, Problem, Rising Action, Climax/Turning Point, Falling Action, Resolution. Each part of the plot is accompanied by a brief description and/or questions the reader should be asking him/herself. (i.e. "This is a story about a _____ named ______ who _________." and "These actions make me confirm or revise my prediction.")
Designed to be printed out on a legal-sized paper (8.5x14"), it is meant for students to be able to track events as they read with post-it notes.
