How can sticky notes help your students learn and review critical vocabulary? Print on your sticky notes so they have all you need: vocabulary definitions to remind you and the students to review the words with space for you to make notes. Put these notes in your lesson plans, teacher manuals, posters, or any resource so that you can refer to them year after year.

Words included: Compare, Contrast, Describe, Distinguish, Identify, Retell, Category, Recognize, Connections, Demonstrate, Details, Determine, Draw, Explain, Locate, Suggest, Support, Classify & Categorize, Explicitly, Recount.

Print 6 of the same words and definitions to each page of sticky notes. Look through your yearly curriculum map to figure out the best ways to include the words with the content you already teach! Make notes on the bottom half of each sticky note.
