This grid works with my sticky reading poster. It has spaces which correspond to the numbers for each kind of annotation. I use this grid to help students evaluate their notes after reading. Annotating on sticky notes is great for creating content and proof for a further product like papers, debates, or projects. However, I also think looking at the things a student has noted can help him/her think more deeply about personal interaction with the text. We have had some high level class discussions about what students see when they evaluate their annotations as a whole. They have a chance to measure their own strengths and weaknesses--ready made self-assessment!
