Directions for Slide #7 and #8
Your student(s) should generate a list of both bubble and sticky words. Two versions of this activity are provided. In slide 7 you can use the table to write in the words. In slide 8 you need to have students write their sticky words on a post-it and stick it to the sheet.
Directions for Slide #9
For your student who needs a visual reminder of the negative words they have said, print slide #9. Each time they say something inappropriate and negative to a peer have them write it on a small post-it (if they can write) and place it on the kids. If the student cannot write then the teacher should write it and the student should place it on. The visual should be kept somewhere that the student can see it at all times. Each time a negative word is used the post-it should be added and they will eventually cover the picture showing the wall between the student and his peers.
