Stone Fox is a thrilling novel about a young boy’s love for this dog and desire to save his family farm and his Grandpa. It appeals to both boys and girls and makes for a great class novel study. Upon completion of the story, watching the movie provides a great opportunity to compare and contrast. There are many differences in the book and movie! This T-chart guides the students in looking for and recording those similarities and differences. I have formerly used a blank venn diagram, but have found a guided T-chart to be a better tool for assisting kiddos in seeing the items of importance.
