Product Description
I created this lesson to help students think about the key components to any story: who, what, where, when, and why. As the read-aloud takes place, students "stop and jot" answers to pre-made questions. Create your own questions or use my questions as guidance. Kids had so much fun and their answers were impressive! Stop and jot is a great way to keep your little ones engaged!

I used the book, "Who Wants to be a Tortoise," but you can choose any book!
