These activities are designed to be used with younger students when helping them to solve problems they may be having with others by using the words "Stop it, I don't like it".
Social stories are a fantastic way to teach appropriate behaviours to your whole class and, because these are visual, are perfect to use with students who have learning needs such as Autism.
This file contains:
-"Stop it, I don't like it" steps Poster in colour (A4)
-"Stop it, I don't like it" steps Poster in black & white
-"Stop it, I don't like it" steps book in colour (A4)
-"Stop it, I don't like it" steps book in black & white
To make the booklet you can either print and staple or I find it best to print then photocopy using the 'booklet' feature on your photocopier. I print the booklet in A3 to use with the class and make the smaller A4 booklets to send home.
When introducing these steps read the book with your class & role play how to use the steps. After students are beginning to use the process display the poster in the classroom as a reminder. I also find it useful to send home the book with students who are having the most troubles when problem solving.
