Product Description
This low prep, printer-friendly activity packet is part of a series to make speech therapy activities for the gamers on your caseloads. The sheets in this bundle are especially great for students who like Plants vs. Zombies™.

This bundle contains 158 sheets of zombie targets, with pages targeting /t, d, n, k, g, f, v, θ, ð, s, z, ʃ, tʃ, ʒ, dʒ, l, ɹ/ and /s, l, r/ clusters. Each singleton speech sound, with the exception of /ʒ/, has pages targeting it in initial, medial and final position. Great for group sessions!

This packet includes two levels of difficulty for each sound and cluster. Level 1 sheets have predominantly mono- and bisyllabic words with simple word shapes, and the words were selected because the other consonants tend to be early developing. Level 2 sheets have target words with a greater variety of various word shapes, word lengths and phoneme composition. (The evidence basis for this division of target words is included in the preview and in the download.)

These sheets can be used for word, phrase and sentence level practice. Students can read out/imitate their word, use a carrier phrase (e.g. “I hit ____”) or make up a sentence using that word.

How to Play
1. Print the targets out on cardstock or regular paper, and cut along the dotted lines.
2. Using magnets, attach the zombies to a whiteboard, a filing cabinet, a metal door, etc
3. Have clients call out which target they are aiming for with their ball popper. After each shot, they have to say whether or not they hit their target.
4. Depending on how long you have for the activity, you can either take the zombies down after each successful production or leave them up for a certain period of time.
