I used these in a social studies unit over the 13 original colonies when I taught 5th grade, but story circles could have many purposes.
You could use them for fiction or nonfiction writing. You could use them for retelling and sequencing stories.
Simply write your facts or story on the lines and add illustrations. Best use is 3-5 circles. Then you glue the circles of your stories together.
