This file includes stories, activities, and questions to help readers in grades 3 and 4 analyze story elements. The Story Elements PowerPoint with an overview of different story elements is included, as well as four original stories with before reading activities, passage-specific multiple choice questions, open-ended questions, a story map, and story-specific extensions. Use the stories and activities as whole group lessons, guided reading stories, or intervention and enrichment materials.
