Students can use these four Story Elements & Text Features Tic-Tac-Toe games to practice defining and giving examples of terms related to the structure and content of fiction and nonfiction texts. Two levels of difficulty are included. These games are fun reviews for assessments, and they make great center activities!

1) Story element boards include terms such as problem/conflict, solution/resolution, setting, character, point of view, mood, and theme/message.
2) Text feature boards test students on the following terms: caption, glossary, photograph, index, table of contents, labels, special print, diagram, and heading.
