The ability to understand and retell a story is one of the most important skills for our students to learn. They must be able to identify and describe story grammar elements such as characters, settings, character plans, and actions. Knowledge of these components is the first step in becoming a skilled storyteller.
This packet contains 8 visuals, each targeting one specific story grammar element. On each visual there is a visual symbol associated with the story grammar element, descriptions of the element, as well as examples of each element. This packet of visuals is a simple and easy way to support your students' narrative language skills.
Please remember to leave feedback to earn TPT credit. Your feedback is always greatly appreciated!
