Use pictures from any story with these story map folders to identify the characters, setting, problem, solution, and events/sequence. These are effective resources in building story mapping, story grammar, and early narrative language skills with children who are developing language and literacy, primarily, those who are in early childhood and/or in special education, using hands-on learning! Examples and guidelines for use are included. These provide a foundation and are critical precursors to later narrative skills, such as story telling and story writing. These story map folders are ideal for organizing various story grammar elements with young learners!
