-- Do your students think that they have written a whole story because their sentence covers 2 lines?
--- Do they forget to capitalize the first letter of their sentences?
--- Do they think punctuation at the end of a sentence is voluntary rather than mandatory?
--- Does their mirror writing give Leonardo da Vinci a run for his money?
If so-- perhaps they need a set of training wheels on their paper. The story/sentence paper in this packet has
-- a tall box for putting a capital letter into (at the front of the sentence)
-- a circle for putting in ending punctuation
There are 2 versions--
-- the first has a place for the title and a "By" line. It also has a second page for chatty writers with a place to put page numbers.
--- the second set simply has a spot for :Name" and a blank line to put a date or other heading on.
