These story cards are the exact same stories as
my other 5 sentence sequencing center.
HOWEVER, these cards are not meant to be cut apart.
The sentences are not in order so you can just
copy, laminate, and cut out each story as one
task card. Students will then get 1 card, go to their
seat and copy the sentences in order on one of the
student answer sheets or on notebook paper.
The other packet is meant to be used for students to
arrange and then copy. This packet eliminates a lot
After a student has completed the task card, I grade it
and record the number they missed on the recording
sheet. I keep a recording sheet for each child.
When I want to review sequencing I just pull out their
individual sheets and the task cards and students are
ready to go again. We repeat this process until
all students have completed all cards.
