In the following pages you will find a printable mini-book that can be used as a quiet free-time activity. This is great for students that finish early, creative morning work, or just so you can get a quiet time for a few minutes.
*I use this as a fun quiet activity for my students to work on while the classrooms around me are doing the CRCT!
Students read the ‘story spark’ (this package includes 7) on the bottom of the right page and then create a picture illustrating the idea and write a short story or poem based on the spark.
To assemble: Print the first 4 pages of the book (as many copies as you need) then insert the paper (face up with the top of the page on the left side) in your printer’s paper tray and print the remaining pages (5-8).
Once your pages are printed, place the page with the cover on the outside of the package, fold in half, and then staple twice along the spine to hold it together.
