This a board game to practice oral narrative and story comprehension skills. Any story book, including a book being read in the child’s classroom, can used with this game.
**READ THE STORY FIRST** then play the game.
Children take turns rolling dice and moving owls number of spaces indicated on dice.After moving the number of spaces, they select an owl card and answer the question on the card regarding the story. First child to get their owl to the tree wins!
It is important to note there is no penalty for incorrect answers, the therapist should guide the child to the correct answer before moving onto the next child’s turn.
