Product Description:
My goal as a teacher has always been to create educational resources that inspire students to get excited about learning.

This product is great for teachers that are looking for a product that includes Story Writing Topics that are both Seasonal and not Seasonal. Teachers can use the Story Writing Topics that are not Seasonal all year round.

Each story includes the following:
1) Title Page (1 Page)
2) Story Map - Chart (1 Page)
3) Story Writing Templates - 2 Templates - (2 Pages)
4) Draw a picture of the story - (1 Page)

Story Map:
The Story Map Chart that is included in each story has the following four sections: Characters, Setting, Problem, and Solution. The characters for each story are already provided on the Story Map. Each character has a picture and a brief description of the character printed below the picture. Students simply complete the rest of the chart based on these characters. Students use the Story Map as a planning page for their stories.

Story Writing Templates:
a) Story Writing Template #1 - The first Story Writing Template includes the following six sections: Words/Phrases (7 or 8 Words/Phrases that are related to the story topic), Character Traits (9 or 10 Character Trait Words that describe the characters in the story), Transition Words (9 Transition Words/Phrases), Time-Order Words (8 Time-Order Words/Phrases), Story Writing (12 rows - solid lined), and My Editing Checklist (Capitals, Spacing, Spelling, and Punctuation).

b) Story Writing Template #2 - The second Story Writing Template includes the following six sections: Words/Phrases (7 or 8 Words/Phrases that are related to the story topic), Character Traits (9 or 10 Character Trait Words that describe the characters in the story), Transition Words (9 Transition Words/Phrases), Time-Order Words (8 Time-Order Words/Phrases), Story Writing (13 rows - solid lined), and My Editing Checklist (Capitals, Spacing, Spelling, and Punctuation). NOTE: The Story Writing Template #1 and Story Writing Template #2 are identical, except Story Writing Template #2 does not include the directions that are included in Story Writing Template #1. Hence, Story Writing Template #2 would be used as an additional page, when students write more than one page in their story.
