PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

This product is great for teachers that are looking for a product that includes Story Writing Topics that are both Seasonal and not Seasonal. Teachers can use the Story Writing Topics that are not Seasonal all year round.

Each story includes the following:
1) Title Page
2) Story Map
3) Story Writing Template

The Story Maps include the following four sections: Characters, Setting, Problem, and Solution. For some of the Story Maps the students will have to choose between two Characters, Settings, and/or Problems. The students will simply circle the Character, Setting, and/or Problem they like best. In addition, some of the Story Maps require the students to draw a picture of the main character, setting, problem, and/or solution in the story. Hence, students use the Story Map as a planning page for their stories.

The Story Writing Templates include the following five sections: Sight Words (8 Sight Words), Pictures (6 Pictures with a brief description of the picture printed below), Drawing (blank rectangular space for drawing a picture of the story), Story Writing (8 rows interlined), and My Editing Checklist (Capitals, Spacing, Spelling, and Punctuation).

Students can use the pictures on the Story Writing Templates to assist them in their drawing and writing.
