This scoot activity requires students to determine whether each card is an example of title, author, illustrator, character, setting, problem, or solution. For title, author, and illustrator there is a picture of the cover of a book and the student determines which part is circled. For character, setting, problem, and solution, the student is given a short example of text and must determine which it is. There are four examples of each element for a total of 28 cards for your scoot activity. The text is all easily decodable words so as to focus on the standard.
